A Youth Team Tennis League in

Our Sure Shot Team Tennis League uses WTN to measure each match! This method allows our participants to have fun through team tennis but also gauge their development and maintain the goal orientation it takes to progress in tennis. Before players can select their team for the season, they must register through the link below so we make sure each match speaks to their WTN. Our league coordinator will record each match match played as well as update overall team standings.
Once the registration below is complete* parents and their player(s) may select their team.
8u players do not need to register

Sure Shot Tennis is a youth team tennis league for beginner, intermediate and advanced players located on the southwest and southeast side of Atlanta, Georgia. Our players practice throughout the week, as they develop and build their game. Teams compete on Saturdays. But our league is very different from other league play options.
• We host our league play at three facilities.
• Before matches start, we will have morning drills.
• Both teams eat lunch together before they play.
• All matches count toward player WTN

Play Format
Before selecting teams, all players must
have a USTA Membership
and register on the link below*
8u players do not need to register through WTN portal.
All 8u players should register on this site only.
Play Format Coed
4 Player Minimum
Players can play twice.
One Singles
Two Singles
One Doubles
Two Doubles
Play Scoring
Doubles
All matches will be 8 game pro sets.
Must win by 2 games.
At 8 all a 7 point tie breaker will
decide the winner.
(No ad scoring)
Singles
10U Singles:
Best of 3 sets to 4 games, with a 7 point tiebreaker at 4 all.
Ages 11 - 16 Singles:
Best of 3 sets to 6 games, in liu of a 3rd set players
will compete in a 10 point tiebreaker to decide the winner.
8u Singles (Only)
All matches will be normal first to 7 point sets.
8u league singles matches will be best 2 of 3 sets
At 1 set all, a deciding 7 point set will be played.
Coaching
8u and 10u Team Matches:
Parents are allowed to help assist with scoring, positioning and proper etiquette
All other team matches:
Each team must assign one Parent Captain to assist with coaching when the actual coach isnt present. Parent Captains are appointed by the Coach to help all the players on the team perform their best during matches.
Coaching is allowed during change over only. Parents are not allowed to interject or overrule any call during points or during the game. Parents must maintain proper tennis etiquette. If there is a discrepancy that can't be resolved, both Parent Captains will approach the net with their players and call the home team Coach for resolution.

10u Matches:
Full Court Green Dot (Stage 1)
11 and up:
Full Court Yellow Ball
WTN 40-35 (Beginner)
WTN 34 - 30 (Beginner - Intermediate)
WTN 29 - 25 (Intermediate - Advanced)
This system will be measured as accuratly as possible. Our goal is to maintain level based play for all our participants. Based on coach approval, some younger players will be paced up based on their skill level.
Team Win
After all matches are played, winning games will be added up. The team with the most games won will be the winner. All matches will be recorded on this site as well as on the WTN platform.
Once players are registered through the WTN portal (link above) our league coordinator will
update each match played. Not only are our players competing as a team but each player's league match provides the opportunity to increase their individual WTN number
and play confidence meter.
